The Olayan Women Network
The concept of gender equity has long been a part of who we are. A gender diversity initiative that is especially close to our hearts, The Olayan Women Network (OWN), started over a decade ago; its objective is to empower women and achieve gender equality across our group both within Saudi Arabia and the regional markets we operate in.a

Our purpose is to achieve gender equality and our mission is to facilitate the empowerment of women in our group.

Recognizing our Diversity Enablers: The OWN Awards
Diversity Index Award
Introduced to recognize companies with high diversity scores and positive feedback on our “OWN Work Culture Survey.”
OWN Recognition Award
Introduced in 2015 to recognize high-performing women who actively engage in diversity initiatives. During the Annual OWN Forum, the CEO presents certificates of appreciation to the awardees in the “OWN Recognition Award” session. The awardees have a one-on-one lunch with our CEO at HQ.
OWN Mentor Award
The Mentor Award was introduced in 2020 to recognize recipients who add particular value to the organization. It also represents their ongoing commitment to the mission of gender diversity by advocating and lending support when needed. It is not an annual award but is given when candidates arise.
