In 2015, we acquired El Rashidi El Mizan (REM), a company that was established in Cairo back in 1889. REM started as a small family business that produced Halawa and Tahina for the local market.

With over a century of expertise in sesame-based products, today REM has capitalized on its strong brand equity and ventured into new categories including jam, honey, and molasses. Continuously providing its customers with quality, value and innovation has allowed REM to establish its brand as part of the Egyptian culture. Today its products are available in over 50 countries around the world.
